Water cuts: Selangor, Negri water authorities investigating source of river pollution


PETALING JAYA: Water authorities in Selangor and Negri Sembilan are jointly investigating the source of pollution in two Selangor rivers, which caused water supply disruption in parts of Klang Valley on Sunday (Oct 4).

The Selangor Water Management Authority (LUAS) said it received reports from Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd that odour pollution had been detected at Sungai Semenyih and Sungai Langat on Sunday evening.
