Water cuts affect over 300,000 accounts due to yet another river pollution incident

PETALING JAYA: More than 300,000 account holders from the Petaling, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat and Sepang districts will be affected by an unscheduled water cut following yet another river pollution incident.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd said the Sungai Semenyih and Bukit Tampoi water treatment plants had to completely stop operating following pollution detected in Sungai Semenyih, which is the raw water source for these plants.
