Ku Li's brother Tengku Abdul Aziz dies aged 87


PETALING JAYA: Tengku Abdul Aziz Tengku Mohd Hamzah, the brother of Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, also known as Ku Li, died at 3am on Sunday (Sept 20) aged 87 at a private hospital in Kuala Lumpur.

Tengku Abdul Aziz was the great-grandson of Sultan Muhammad III of Kelantan, and he had served as Malaysia's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia from 1975 to 1978 and to the Netherlands from 1978 to 1982.

His remains will be brought to Tengku Razaleigh's residence for prayers, and would then be flown to Kota Bharu for burial at the royal cemetery in Langgar, Kota Baru.
