Landslides reported at three locations heading up to Cameron Highlands from Tapah

IPOH: Landslides have been reported at three locations heading up to Cameron Highlands via Tapah.

Tapah OCPD Supt Wan Azharuddin Wan Ismail said the incidents occurred at Batu 10, Batu 16 and Batu 20 on the Jalan Tapah-Ringlet route at about 8am on Tuesday (Sept 15).

“Thankfully no one is reported to be injured, but it has caused about a 2km traffic jam in the morning. Clearing works are being conducted, and as of noon one of the lanes has been opened to traffic, ” he added.
