MACC to civil servants: Minister's support letter not a directive

PUTRAJAYA: Civil servants should not view support letters issued by ministers or politicians as a directive to approve applications, says the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

Its deputy chief commissioner (prevention) Datuk Seri Shamsun Baharin Mohd Jamil said guidelines were already in place regarding such matters.
