Lack of PPE, second-rate quarantine facilities among frontliner complaints


KUALA LUMPUR: The lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) and second-rate quarantine facilities are among the grouses raised by medical frontliners dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak in Sarawak, a lawmaker told Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (July 28).

Chong Chieng Jen (PH-Stampin) raised the matter with Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba when seeking clarification on the situation in Kuching which has been declared a red zone recently due to the Hospital Sentosa cluster.
