Vietnamese woman falls to her death from 24th floor of Iskandar Puteri apartment

ISKANDAR PUTERI: A 31-year-old Vietnamese woman who was having drinks with friends at a high-rise apartment died after she fell from the 24th floor of the building here.

Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay (pic) said that the victim and a friend had gone to the apartment to meet up for drinks with two others.

"She went to the apartment with a Thai woman to meet two male Chinese nationals for drinks," he said.

Comm Ayob said at about 1am on Wednesday (July 8), the victim who was allegedly drunk, went out to the corridor and then fell off the building.

He added that the victim's body was found on a pathway in the garden area below.

Comm Ayob said no foul play was detected and that the case has been classified as sudden death.
