62,000 sign up for My30 travel pass


KUALA LUMPUR: Over 62,000 registrations were recorded for the My30 unlimited monthly travel pass for commuters in the Klang Valley since its launch on June 15 and more are expected, says Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.

The Finance Minister said the number of passengers relying on the My30 pass was expected to increase after the gradual reopening of schools and businesses under the recovery movement control order (MCO).

“Since its launch about two weeks ago, the number of passengers using public transport has gone up to 40% of the pre-MCO period.
