PETALING JAYA: DAP says there are ways to guarantee Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad would step down within a stipulated period should he become prime minister for the third time, a news portal reported.

DAP organising secretary Anthony Loke said although there were reservations from the public regarding the matter, there were mechanisms to ensure that Dr Mahathir stepped down after six months, Malaysiakini reported.
