CM working to revive tourism in Melaka

MELAKA: The state government is working closely with tourism players to revive the travel industry badly hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, says Chief Minister Datuk Sulaiman Md Ali.

Sulaiman earlier launched a tourism campaign called “Dream Now, Travel Later” at his office in Seri Negeri yesterday.

The campaign, from June 1 to Dec 31, can be accessed through an online platform called Melaka eXcess. It can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.

Tourism players in the state will be offering discounts from 10% for entrance tickets to their destinations, products and services.

Sulaiman said to date, 200 tourism-related companies in the state had registered under the Melaka eXcess application to promote their products or services.
