RM1 fee exemption for ATM withdrawals still on for now, says Ismail Sabri

PUTRAJAYA: The RM1 fee exemption for cash withdrawals is still on even with operating hours for ATMs reverting to normal, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (pic).

“We have not received any request from banks to start charging the RM1 fee again. So, the exemption is still in place and the public can continue to enjoy the service for free for now, ” he said on Monday (June 1).
