Sabah allows electrical, fertiliser shops to operate three days a week

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is allowing electrical and electronic shops to operate three days a week with immediate effect.

State Secretary Datuk Safar Untong on Tuesday (April 28) said they would be allowed to operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am to 5pm.

However, he said that their operations were only for the sale of electronic and electrical replacement parts.

He said local authorities would identify the outlets allowed to operate.

Safar also said the state was allowing chemical and fertiliser shops to open for three days (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) from 8am to 5pm.

The local councils and district would identify the shops allowed to open, and they must all comply with standard operating procedures at their premises to check the spread of Covid-19.
