‘Golden voice’ newscaster dies of cancer


PETALING JAYA: Veteran newscaster Farit Ismeth Emir, one of the most recognisable faces on RTM’s news bulletins in the early 1990s, has died. He was 66.

Farit breathed his last at 11am at Assunta Hospital from lung cancer.
