Enhanced MCO for Kg Sungai Lui lifted except for tahfiz school and a house

PUTRAJAYA: The enhanced movement control order (MCO) for Kampung Sungai Lui in Hulu Langat has been lifted, says Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He however said this does not apply to Maahad Tahfiz An-Nabawiyyah and a house in Batu 23, Kampung Payar Lebar, Sungai Lui where the enhanced MCO has been extended until April 28.

"This is because there are still Covid-19 positive cases reported at the maahad tahfiz and a house in the village. Therefore, the Health Ministry has advised the government to extend the enhanced MCO for the religious school and the house," he said on Tuesday (April 15).

He said the enhanced MCO has also been extended for Kampung Datuk Ibrahim Majid and Bandar Baharu Datuk Ibrahim Majid in Simpang Renggam.

"We are also extending the order for Menara City One in Jalan Munshi Abdullah as well as for Selangor Mansion and Malayan Mansion in Jalan Masjid India.

"All the three areas will be under the enhanced MCO until April 28," said Ismail Sabri.

He said the Health Ministry has advised the government to extend the enhanced MCO as there has been an increase in the number of Covid-19 positive cases in the three areas.
