PETALING JAYA: Several roads in Kota Damansara have been temporarily closed in connection with the enforcement of the movement control order (MCO), starting Saturday (March 28).
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal said the three roads are Jalan Persiaran Mahogani Seksyen 9, Jalan Persiaran Jati Seksyen 8 and Jalan Persiaran Sungai Buloh.
"We are closing the roads in order to manage the traffic flow at the various locations.
"We discovered that people are still going out in the area and not complying with the MCO thus we are closing some of the roads," he told reporters on Saturday.
However, ACP Nik Ezanee said such a move was not a lockdown.
On Friday (March 27), Petaling Jaya police also closed Jalan 5/46 Gasing Indah in Petaling Jaya, which borders Jalan Pantai Dalam in Kuala Lumpur, as part of the MCO enforcement effort.
