Govt to review IPCMC


PETALING JAYA: The government will review and fine-tune the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) Bill which was tabled by the previous Pakatan Harapan administration, says Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan.

“The Cabinet decided that the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Parliament) Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan and the Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin further scrutinise and fine-tune the IPCMC,” he said in a statement posted on his Facebook page yesterday.
