Now Bersatu turns around and accepts Dr M’s previous resignation as chairman

PETALING JAYA: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s (pic) resignation as chairman of the party he founded, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, has been formalised.

In a confusing turn of events, Bersatu has now accepted his resignation of Feb 24, even though it had asked him to reconsider at the time and accepted him back as chairman on Feb 27.
