Authorities to crackdown on backdoor routes into Sabah for illegals


KOTA KINABALU: Immigration and other enforcement authorities have been told to investigate backdoor routes into Sabah and to seal it in a bid to stop illegal immigrants from coming in.

Deputy Home Minister Datuk Azis Jamman (pic) said following a crackdown on illegal immigrants in various locations around the city from late Friday (Feb 7) to early Saturday (Feb 8), suspects nabbed have informed authorities that they entered via such illegal routes.
