Probe 'suspicious' Tabung Haji Plantations land deals, urges Umno Youth

KUALA LUMPUR: Umno Youth is urging authorities to investigate the alleged sale of Tabung Haji Plantations (THP) land, which the party claims is "suspicious".

Its chief Datuk Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki (pic) urged authorities to investigate the deals worth RM170mil, saying that the company did not need to sell the land at below market prices to pay off debts, as these were mostly oil palm plantations.
