Sarawak expects to lose tourism revenue following travel ban, says exco member


SARIKEI: Sarawak is expected to lose tourism revenue following the suspension of all immigration facilities to Chinese citizens from Wuhan and other cities in Hubei province due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, says an exco member.

State Tourism, Art, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said, however, that the loss of tourism revenue by the state would not be as great as Sabah.
