Ex-minister to be charged under MACC Act tomorrow


KUALA LUMPUR: A former minister is expected to be charged at the Sessions Court here on Friday (Aug 28).

It is learnt that the ex-minister will be prosecuted under Section 16 of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act.

The MACC said it had obtained consent to proceed with the prosecution involving the accused person.

The charge is scheduled to take place at 9am.
