Appeal against Rafizi's acquittal withdrawn


PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): PKR vice-president Mohd Rafizi Ramli (pic) remains free over charges of disclosing private banking details linked to National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) after the prosecution withdrew its appeal against his acquittal.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Jasmee Hameeza Jaafar told a panel of three Court of Appeal judges headed by Justice Datuk Yaacob Md Sam that the prosecution was also withdrawing its appeal against the acquittal of bank clerk, Johari Mohamad from charges of abetting with Rafizi.
