Flooding in Membakut, Beaufort leads to 422 people being evacuated

The old shops in Membakut town which have been affected since the flooding began on Tuesday (Dec 10).

KOTA KINABALU: A total of 422 villagers from Membakut and Beaufort have been evacuated on Wednesday (Dec 11), the second day of flooding in the area.

All evacuees are being housed at the Selagon temporary relief centre, which is whee the authorities began relocating villagers on Tuesday (Dec 10).
