Johor MP: Extension for RTS project to ensure thorough vetting of financial risks

JOHOR BARU: The Malaysian government's request for an extension on the RM4bil Rapid Transit System (RTS) project is to vet it for any possible financial risks it might incur in the future.

Johor Baru MP Akmal Nasir said this would give the government time to study whether the RTS will have a negative impact on the country's debt.
