Stern action if contractor cartel allegations found true, says Guan Eng

BUTTERWORTH (Bernama): Contractors found to have been ganging up to win government contracts will have stern action taken against them, says Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng (pic).

He said using such tactics was a clear violation of the law and the Domestic Trade and Consumers Affairs Ministry - through the Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) - must take action against such "cartels", if claims that these contractors were working together to bid and then win lucrative government contracts had basis.
