Datuk charged with impersonating govt officer in bid to be King's medical adviser

PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): A 37-year-old project adviser has pleaded not guilty to impersonating a senior government officer in a bid to be appointed as medical and forensic science adviser to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong last March.

Datuk Redzuan Zainuddin was charged in the Magistrate’s Court here Thursday (Aug 15) with posing as a "Datuk Riduan" to cheat the senior private secretary to the Health Minister, Mohd Hamidi Abu Bakar, at 11am on March 28 at the Health Minister’s office in Putrajaya.
