KUCHING: A rapid rabies test kit is being developed in Sarawak to enable human rabies cases to be diagnosed locally and more accurately in about two hours.
Researchers from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) and the Sarawak General Hospital are undertaking the two-year project, which is funded by a RM500,000 grant from the Sarawak Research and Development Council (SRDC).
