Maimun’s notable judgments

PETALING JAYA: Chief Justice Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat has spent six years sitting in the appellate courts. Throughout this period she contributed to several notable judgments.

In 2013, Tengku Maimun, alongside two other Court of Appeal Judges, unanimously reversed a decision by the High Court to convict two former police commandos of the murder of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu.
