Accused in Cambodia job scam pleads not guilty, out on bail of RM8k


SIBU: A 25-year-old man has been released on a total bail of RM8,000 in four sureties by two magistrate's courts in Kuching after he pleaded not guilty to two charges of cheating in the Cambodia job scam.

At the first magistrate's court on Thursday (May 2), the accused, Mohd Ghafar Abd Jamal from Kampung Salak, Kuching, was charged under Section 415 (b) of the Penal Code and which is punishable under Section 417 of the same Code.
