JOHOR BARU: Datuk Osman Sapian (pic) claims he is still the Johor Mentri Besar – for one more day at least – and will carry on with his duties until he has an audience with Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar on Saturday (April 13).

"I am still the Mentri Besar until I hand over my resignation letter to Sultan Ibrahim," the Kempas assemblyman said during a press conference here on Friday (April 12).

Osman also said that he remained as the Johor Pakatan Harapan and the Johor Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chairman.

He added that he would hold a press conference after his audience with Sultan Ibrahim.

Osman, however, declined to comment on his potential replacement.

"I have nothing to say on this matter. You can ask the party president (Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin)," he said.

It was reported that Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had announced that Osman handed over his resignation letter on Monday (April 8).
