KUANTAN: PAS information chief Nasrudin Hassan has told graft investigators he had no information about the alleged RM90mil which the Islamic party received from Umno.
Nasrudin, who described the allegations as slander, said he was also asked about his purported luxury cars as alleged by Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle Brown.
“I gave a declaration that this is the only car I own,” Nasrudin said, pointing to the black Toyota Fortuner he drove to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) office in Indera Mahkota here yesterday.
Nasrudin said he also stated that those who made the allegations should show evidence.
“If it is merely an allegation in the media just to trigger political perception, I consider it as irresponsible.
“Anyone can do that without any proof and end up burdening the accused to sue them,” said Nasrudin.
He told reporters most of the other questions were about his background, profession, income and purchases.
