PUTRAJAYA: As Malaysia heads towards becoming an ageing nation, traditions and the spirit of family togetherness should be instilled among the young, says the Deputy Prime Minister.
Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said while Chinese New Year is associated with ang pow, cheongsam, lion dances, yee sang and mandarin oranges, above all, the celebration also signifies respect, filial piety and families coming together.
