A CHICKEN for only 19 sen!It sounds quite unbelievable but in Pekan Simpang Empat, Alor Setar, that was exactly the price offered by a poultry seller on Saturday, reported Sinar Harian.

All the customers had to do was to pay with the exact change.Ayam Bismi Sdn Bhd executive director Mazlina Kamarudin said the super deal was in conjunction with the 2019 New Year.

She said although their counter only opened at 8.20am, hundreds of customers were already queuing in front of her stall as early as 6am.

“The sale was good and we offered 219 birds at the price of 19 sen as long as they bring the exact change.

“All the chicken were sold within 30 minutes,” she said, adding that the super deal was also aimed at rewarding her loyal supporters.

Mazlina said she had been operating in the area for more than 30 years and the super deal was her company’s corporate social responsibility effort.
