MIRI: Incessant rain in the night and pre-dawn hours caused parts of Bau district in southern Sarawak to be hit by floods on Tuesday (Jan 8).
Roads were hit by flash floods while 143 people from 28 houses in Kampung Bijuray in the district were evacuated when their houses were affected by rising water.
