Fainted rally-goers get instant medical help

KUALA LUMPUR: A few participants of the anti-Icerd rally around Dataran Merdeka fainted, probably due to heat exhaustion.

Members of PAS Jabatan Amal volunteer group carried them away from the crowd on stretchers for medical help.

The volunteers had difficulty in bringing out only one person who had fainted at Dataran Merdeka due to the huge presence of participants.

Meanwhile, among those who attended the rally were actress Ellie Suriaty Omar, Sungai Besar Umno chief Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos and TV personality Azwan Ali, popularly known as “Diva AA” and a brother of Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.
