Acknowledge orang asli customary land rights won in court, says NGO


KUALA LUMPUR: The Johor Orang Asli Network wants the government to acknowledge cases of orang asli land rights won in court to serve as legal precedence to protect the community's rights.

Its chairman Dolah Tekoi said that 11 members from the network had gone to meet the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department P. Waytha Moorthy to get the government to acknowledge orang asli customary land rights as was promised in the Pakatan Harapan manifesto.
