Cops arrest 45 youths in sex and drugs party

SERDANG: Police have arrested 45 youths for throwing a wild sex and drugs party on Nov 6.

Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Ismadi Borhan said they raided a condominium in Seri Kembangan, just south of Kuala Lumpur, at around 3.45am, following a tip-off.

"We arrested 45 youths aged between 14 and 26 in the raid and seized drugs at the scene.

"Thirty-three of these youths also tested positive for ganja and methamphetamine (syabu) abuse," he told reporters at the Serdang police headquarters on Friday (Nov 9).

He said the organisers of the party were among those arrested during the raid.

ACP Ismadi said investigations revealed that the group involved are believed to have organised multiple parties in the past.

"Party goers would pay a RM60 cover charge (each) to attend the party, and would pay extra if they wanted drugs.

"We believe the party goers would get high before they engaged in sexual activities," he said, adding that nine of those detained were secondary school students.

"We seized a packet of ketamin pills and also 11 ecstasy pills," he said.

He said the case was being investigated under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 for drug possession.
