Mat Sabu: Not financially feasible for Malaysia to produce fighter jets

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Malaysia does not have the capability yet, especially in terms of money, to have its own fighter jet, the Dewan Rakyat was told on Tuesday (Oct 16).

Defence Minister Mohamad Sabu said that though researchers feel that Malaysia can produce a fighter jet in 2020, it would also depend on the country's financial capacity.
