MRT commuters face delays after flooding

PETALING JAYA: MRT commuters faced delays due to flooding between the Phileo Damansara and Pusat Bandar Damansara stations.

In a post on its Facebook page on Monday (Oct 15), RapidKL said trains will be moving slower and stopping longer at the platforms.  

It said technicians found that an advertisement canvas had flown onto the track and caused clogging.   

"Debris removal is in progress and track sweep will be done right away," it said, adding that a 15-minute delay was expected for commuters as verification works were being carried out.

RapidKL added that it was currently providing shuttle buses to ferry passengers between Phileo Damansara, Semantan and the Pusat Bandar Damansara stations.

VH4307: Phileo Damansara-Semantan

VAG8654: Phileo Damansara - Semantan

VAH9053: Semantan-Phileo Damansara

VH1385: MRT PBD - MRT Semantan - MRT Phileo Damansara

VAJ2876: MRT Phileo Damansara - MRT PBD - MRT Semantan  

VAC5764: MRT Semantan - MRT Phileo Damansara - MRT Pusat Bandar Damansara  

RapidKL said that affected customers who decide not to continue their journey can seek a refund at its customer service counters.
