Anwar files bid to strike out suit over PD by-election eligibility

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): PKR president-elect Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has filed an application to strike out an originating summons by a voter in Port Dickson seeking a court declaration that Anwar is not qualified to contest any parliamentary seat.

Lawyer J. Leela, representing Anwar, said the application to strike out the summons by Noraziah Mohd Shariff, 38, was made on grounds that she had no locus standi, and it was unfair.
