Army veterans not happy at losing Danyal as MP

PETALING JAYA: The resignation of Datuk Danyal Balagopal Abdullah to make way for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim did not go down well with the National Patriots Associ­ation.

Its president Brig-Jen (Rtd) Datuk Mohamed Arshad Raji said the Port Dickson electorate had voted for Danyal and most of them were army veterans.
