Anwar confirms contesting PKR presidency

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced his intention to contest the PKR presidency at the party's upcoming polls in September.

In a statement on Sunday (July 15), Anwar said that his decision was made after discussing with party president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and other leaders.
