Pakatan takes Kedah, according to unofficial results


ALOR SETAR: Kedah has fallen to the Opposition in GE14, with Pakatan Harapan winning 20 of the state's 36 state assembly seats and nine of the 15 parliamentary seats, according to unofficial results.

Leading Pakatan's victory was Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who officially won the hot seat of Langkawi by 18,954 votes against incumbent Datuk Nawawi Ahmad 10,061 of Barisan Nasional and PAS candidate Zubir Ahmad (5,512).
