Group protests Dr Mahathir contesting under PKR logo


BUTTERWORTH: A group of men claiming to be PKR members have gathered outside the party's office in Jalan Todak 4 in Seberang Jaya here to protest Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad standing in the polls under the party's logo in GE14.

The protest was led by A. Loganathan ,who claimed that he was the PKR Batu Kawan division vice chairman from 2008 to 2013.

Loganathan said that he was disappointed that the PKR leadership agreed that the

Pakatan Harapan chairman could use the party's logo.

Curious motorists stopped by to witness the commotion which lasted about 30 minutes, and several policemen came to divert traffic as cars parked beside the busy road caused a snarl.
