Schools to close on May 9 for ‘special holiday’


KUALA LUMPUR: All schools will be given a “special occasion holiday” on May 9 – the day Malaysians vote in the 14th General Election.

Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said a circular will be sent out by the Education Ministry within the next two days.
