SEPANG: As it received a special guest to its new “home”, AirAsia also conferred him the title of “Father of Low-Cost Air Travel”.

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, in his first visit to RedQ to officiate the low-cost carrier’s corporate headquarters and “theatre of dreams” here, was hailed by AirAsia Group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes for having gone the “extra mile” for the company in its infancy.
