Syabas not charging RM3 for postal delivery of water bill


PETALING JAYA: Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) has refuted a viral message claiming that it will start charging customers RM3 if they received their water bill by post.

In a statement on Saturday (Dec 23) the water concessionaire denied it will charge customers who wished to received their water bill by Pos Malaysia RM3 from January 2018 onwards.

"Syabas will not apply any charges for delivery of the water bill by post," it said.

It also advised its customers to be vigilant when receiving such messages.

The public can also sign-up for Syabas' new e-billing services at https://update.airselangor.com from January 2018.
