Khalid Ibrahim spotted attending Selangor Umno convention

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Selangor mentri besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim was seen attending the Selangor Umno Convention on Saturday (Dec 2).

The Bandar Tun Razak MP was seen accompanying Umno defacto deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi at the event held in Dewan Merdeka, PWTC.

Also spotted was another former Selangor mentri besar, Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib, who recently rejoined Umno after leaving PAS.

Dr Ahmad Zahid was invited to officiate the convention, which was closed to the media.

Khalid was sacked from PKR for his refusal to vacate his Selangor mentri besar post in 2014.

Talk is rife that Khalid is eyeing to join PAS, and he had previously attended the party's Muktamar (annual assembly).
