Speak English initiative launched in rural S’wak


KUCHING: Students in all schools in the rural district of Bau will have to converse in English during school hours following the launch of the Speak English Every Day (SEED) programme.

Sarawak Education, Science and Technological Research Minister Datuk Seri Michael Manyin Jawong said the programme involves interaction in English in both oral and written communication among students, teachers, non-teaching staff, parents and visitors in the school compound to raise language proficiency.
