SPAD suspends entire fleet of both firms in fatal bus crash


KUALA LUMPUR: The Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) has suspended the entire fleet of buses of two operators whose vehicles were involved in a fatal crash in Juru, Penang.

SPAD said the immediate measure was meant to enable a thorough investigation by the commission’s safety compliance and audit division on both bus operators based on the SPAD Industrial Code of Practice (SPAD Icop).
